Renal Nurses Association of the Philippines (RENAP) was conferred on June 20, 2002 as an Accredited Nursing Specialty Organization in the Philippines by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing (BON), Nursing Specialty Certification Council.
Mission:
To advance the professional development of the registered nurses practicing and interested in nephrology, transplantation and related therapies and to promote the highest standards of patient care.
Vision:
To present a professional atmosphere through teamwork support, dedication, communication, leadership and pride of the members.
RENAP Membership Requirements:
- List of references (personal or work-related)
- PRC license
- PhP 300 membership fee (valid for 1 year)
RENAP Accreditation Exam Requirements:
A nurse interested in taking the Accreditation Exam must be WORKING in a DIALYSIS FACILITY or HAS ALREADY undergone DIALYSIS TRAINING (must have a minimum of 6 months hospital/clinical experience prior to hemodialysis training). Accreditation exams are held after every update, so make sure to attend the update first:
- Certificate of Hemodialysis Training
- PRC License
- IVT License
- RENAP Membership ID
- Php 550 Accreditation Exam fee

hi what if mas nauna po ang training ko in hemodialysis bago ang hospital di na po ba ako allowed to take the exam?
mam i would just like to ask when will be the exam for renap acreditation this april?? and is an updated PNA membership id is a requirement for the exam??? hoping for your reply..

hi, i would like to ask.. what if, im currently working in hemodialysis unit, but i did not have any 6 mos hospital exp. i got hired in a the said area, and got my hemodialysis training while working there. can i still have my RENAP exam? or do i still need to wait for 6 mos in the hemodialysis unit before i could take the exam?
