2014 Annual Convention
Theme: “Dare to Shine”

Program Description: This is a two-day convention with the theme “Dare to Shine”. The theme was chosen with the aim of motivating, inspiring and engaging the critical care nurses in our country. Dare to Shine portrays what we contribute and corroborate something we do well… or simply shed light on something we could do differently… through this convention CCNAPI becomes a catalyst for professional action

OBJECTIVES: After the two days convention, the participants will be able to:

  1. Synthesize the message of HIS EMINENCE LUIS ANTONIO CARDINAL TAGLE, D.D., Archbishop of Manila during the Keynote Address in compassionate caring of the critically ill patients
  2. Interpose the mind, body and spirit to create a healing environment.
  3. Apply evidence-based nursing practice to care of the critically ill patient
  4. Translate the importance of communication skills to competency at the point of care.
  5. Develop critical judgment through in-depth assessment (physiological, clinical parameters and critical values) of the critically ill patient
  6. Demonstrate appreciation of basic practices to great patient outcomes.
  7. Discuss ways of preventing alarm fatigue in ICU.
  8. Share quality stories that impact on ICU care.
  9. Define strategies to prevent pressure ulcers and sores in ICU
  10. Discuss legislation, accreditation, credentialing and education in relation to critical care nursing.
  11. Identify the importance of surveillance in the prevention of ICU infection.
  12. Apply care bundles in the care of the critically ill patients.
  13. Define the facility standard to meet safety in the ICU.

REGISTRATION:
To register as a delegate to the Critical Care Nurses Association of the Philippines, Inc., Annual Convention, a complete registration form shall be submitted. In order to avoid delays in processing your registration, please write or type clearly the information required including payment information that have been made. Use a separate form for each delegate in duplicate copy.

Onsite Registration from February 1, 2014 until February 18, 2014:

Groups Registration (10 participants):

Onsite Group Registration from Feb. 1 to Feb. 14, 2014 ONLY P 38,000.00

Ways to Register:

1. Fill-out the registration form and pay the necessary amount at CCNAPI Training Room at Room 3D, Edificio Enriqueta Bldg, 422 NS Amoranto St. corner D. Tuazon St. Quezon City.

  • Ask for your receipts and ask for other information needed during the Congress.
  • Delegates outside Metro Manila may request through email: ccnapiannualconvention2012@yahoo.com.

2. Fill out the registration form and pay the necessary amount to CCNAPI’s Bank Account:

All Participants must present a VALID PRC card.

Reminders:

  1. DO NOT FORGET TO BRING your receipt on the day of the Convention.
  2. FOR COMPANY CHEQUE: CCNAPI is a non-profit organization and does not accept payment with tax deductions.

Individual Registration:

  • To avail of the MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION RATE, the individual shall provide a proof that he/she has been a member of CCNAPI for at prior to registration.
  • Therefore, no instant membership shall be allowed just to avail of the membership registration rate.
  • Registration fee is inclusive of kits, Congress ID’s, meal stubs; one certificate of attendance accredited by PRC – Board of Nursing for credit units.

Group Registration:

  • A group registration is considered when 10 people are registered and made a single payment.
  • A discounted fee of P 35,000.00 (for Pre-Registration) and P38,000.00 (for onsite Registration) will be collected for the group registration.
  • One receipt shall be issued under a principal name (person or hospital)
  • The principal name/Hospital Representative shall be the one authorized to transact for the group in getting the kits and the meal stubs on the day of distribution.
  • A Registration Form duly accomplished by each of the 10 people shall accompany the payment.
  • Registration Fee includes of Convention kits, Convention ID’s, meal stubs, ten (10) certificates of attendance accredited by PRC – Board of Nursing for credit units.
  • The deadline of group registration for PRE-REGISTRATION shall be on or before January 31, 2014 and for the ONSITE REGISTRATION on February 14, 2013. Group rate will not apply after.

Cancellation and Refund:
Total amount of Refund will not be given to those who will be cancelling their registration.
Considerations may be given to the following:

  • For cancellation made One (1) month prior to convention, Twenty Five Percent (25%) of the total registration fee shall be deducted.
  • For cancellation made Two (2) weeks prior to the convention, Fifty Percent (50%) of the total registration fee shall be deducted.
  • For cancellation made One (1) week prior to the convention, Seventy Five Percent (75%) of the total registration fee shall be deducted.
  • No Refund shall be given on the day of the congress.

Transfer of Registration:

  • In the event that the Registered Participant is unable to attend the conference, your registration is transferable at no additional charge.
  • Contact the Secretariat if you wish to transfer your registration to another person.
  • Please accomplish a letter of transfer request and fill up another registration form for the person you wish to transfer your registration and attach your registration form and payment receipt.
  • Transfer request should be made at least ONE WEEK prior to the convention.
