The Gerontology Nurses Association of the Philippines (GNAP) is in concert with the Philippine Plan of Action in the promotion of security and dignity of the older persons while maintaining their full participation and human rights.

This 5th annual convention will explore the different aspects of health promotion in the later life, including promoting physiological and psychosocial well-being both in the hospital and community setting. Emphasis will be given on developing holistic interventions in the care of older persons. Other highlights include promoting cognitive function, spirituality, sexual health, physical mobility and exercise, as well as the unique role of the nurse in health promotion.
