Aesculap Academy’s 3-Day Basic Intravenous Therapy (IVT) Training

Location: Our Lady of Mercy General Hospital (Pulilan, Bulacan)
The Intravenous Therapy (IVT) training program is primarily designed to ensure safe practice in Intravenous Therapy. This program will enhance the nurses’ attitude, knowledge and skills in the delivery of their expanded role as intravenous nurse therapists. This course consists of discussions of concepts in intravenous therapy and demonstration of skills in access-related situations. It consists of 24-hour didactic lectures and practicum utilizing Procedures I-IV checklist as the framework for providing safe IV therapy practice.

- Completion of the training program requirements facilitates issuance of IV Therapy License
