wla po bang davao city venue for this nursing skills?
@wisa – you may want to inquire directly with NC-CLEX about this. Their numbers are above. Best of luck to you!
Ms. Rona,
candid curiosity lang po. Im a newly nurse and Ive been thinking a hell lot of attending as much training/ seminar/ as possible (those of my interests, of course) my question is;
1. Aside from building confidence, do trainings like this can really spice up ones CV and eventually caught HR’s attention?
2. do we have an assurance that all the trainings (endorsed or posted in this site) have passed necessary accreditation and would really be recognized by hospitals? locally and Abroad (If applicable?)
I was amazed of your site and the ability to update whats most needed by the searchers, Im just worried if all that we were able to get here are substantial and acceptable (to most institution) as it seems to be.
thanks and god bless.
@nen -
1. The most relevant training that will matter are BLS, ACLS and IVT. The rest are just add-ons and are specific for those who want to gain more knowledge on whatever is the subject of that seminar or training. There really is no point in attending a forensic nursing seminar if you are aiming for a position at the critical care ward because you like critical care nursing). If you would read the application requirements of most hospitals (http://www.philippinenursingdirectory.com/forum/forum-7.html), they are just seeking for the basic ones (those that I mentioned above). Some don’t even require them because you are supposed to be applying as an entry-level nurse (novice, without experience).
2. I do not endorse any seminars or training. I am merely posting what I have gathered online and offline for the sole purpose of putting everything in one place to make it easier for nurses to make a better choice and an informed decision (such as training center A is offering BLS for a much cheaper price than training center B).
As for the accreditation, check the list of training centers (http://www.philippinenursingdirectory.com/training-centers/) and see for yourself. I already have put everything that I can (contact numbers, website, address, mission, vision, company background, etc.). The rest of the work should be coming from those who are curious (like you) to research or seek further information if they are accredited or “recognized” by hospitals (to use your term).
Good luck to you and great post by the way.
ms. rona,,un po bang IVT nla dito ay ung training na pgktapos ay may IVT license? thanks po
@Hanako RN – no. I don’t think their IVT training is ANSAP-accredited.
yap! hindi sya ansap accredited
tuturuan ka ng background sa ivt, kinds of needles, kung papano nag iinsert (as in nag tutusukan kayo ng partner mo) then lahat ng pwede mong malaman tungkol sa ivt, mga administration ng iv meds, ganun. bibigyan ka ng notes, certi (dalawa yata yun for ivt) then id (1yr validity). god bless
mam Rona,
applicable po ba ang onsite registration?kasi,as indicated,1000 po ang pre-registration.magkano po pag onsite?tas san po usually ginaganap ang nursing fair?tnx po…
@san – you may call NC-CLEX for all your queries. I assume that this will be held at their office in P. Campa St. Sampaloc, Manila.
