ANNOUNCEMENT (April 12, 2011)
Update from nildaRN
The Cardio-Renal and Cardio-Pulmo Nurse Training Programs at HEART Foundation-Philippine Heart Center was POSTPONED INDEFINITELY.
The following is an excerpt from the e-mail sent by HEART Foundation on April 7, 2011:
“We thank you for being one of those who believe in our commitment to advance the cause of nursing and allied professions in cooperation with the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) through the holding of post graduate seminars and trainings using the facilities of the Hospital.
However, as of late, we were informed that PHC, being a government hospital, has other equally important missions requiring that would require the use of the same facilities where the Foundation holds its seminars and trainings that would result in possible overlapping of the use thereof.
It is in view thereof that we were left with no option but to postpone indefinitely the cardio-renal and cardio-pulmonary training for nurses which should have otherwise started on May 9, 2011 until we could find an equally conducive venue for the purpose.”

mam. ask ko lng po kung ilang years ang validity ng cardio-renal nurse training or yung cardio-pulmonary nurse training… wala po bng pre requisite?.. tnx po
@gen – I think there’s no expiration for both training. The requirements for the Cardio-Pulmonary Training can be read here: http://www.philippinenursingdirectory.com/2011/01/24/heart-foundation-cardio-pulmonary-nurse-training-program-schedule-january-november-2011/
@gen – according to their website, office hours is from Monday to Friday.
maam aftr the training pwd n poh ba mgtake ng accreditation exam?
@jam – are you referring to RENAP’s accreditation exam?
opo..
@Ruben – kindly call HEART Foundation to inquire if slots are still available.
@ice – if that is what is on the schedule, yes.
hi po.. ask ko lng po kung sa 5 weeks na training for CRN everyday po b un? until sunday? and ung about sa lecture and training ilang days po b un? salamat^^
@rox^^ – you may inquire from HEART Foundation about this. What I know is it would be only during weekdays.
TY!
*ma’am,
instead of my license, can I present my PRC claim stub upon registration for this training? I am turning 21 on July, but I don’t like to waste my time this summmer and so I decided to enroll in such program… Thanks.
@John Paul – you may call them to inquire if they would accept your claim stub in lieu of the PRC license card.
@Cecille – you may inquire with HEART Foundation if the registration fee includes the payment for the CRN exam. As for the CRN title, it’s up to you if you want to append it after the RN. Usually kasi applicable siya kung kinakailangan ang expertise mo as a Cardio-Renal Nurse. Like say susulat ka ng libro or manual tungkol sa Cardio-Renal Nursing.
oh i see. thanks maam. you’ve been so much helpful.
hello ma’am rona! is the RENAP membership can be easily get right after paying the registration fee? and is this CARDIO-RENAL be suitable for the BSN graduates who didn’t have any hospital experience yet? thanks! more power! hoping for a positive response!
))
1st question: Depends with RENAP’s processing of your membership. You may call them to inquire if they can give you your ID as soon as you paid.
2nd question: Check the requirements for this training.
maam ask ko lang po, pano po kung may certification na po ko ng ACLS from PHC din po and valid po sya until 2012? icre2dit po ba nila un or uulitin ko po ung training for cardio-renal?
