Hi,gud day… I’d like to ask if you have other IVT trainings here in Dumaguete aside from the trainings conducted at the Silliman Medical Center. Many of us wants to attend on the said training but they don’t allow outsiders / Nurses outside their institution to attend. There are a lot of Nurses here that are very interested for the said training. I think it would be fair if another IVT training for RNs will be conducted outside Silliman Medical Center.

Bakit wala pa rin schedule sa CDO. Na postpone kasi yung supposedly Dec 1-3 of 2010. Until now wala pa ring update of new sched for the IVT.

I just logged in,I am delighted that basic IVT posting for the annual year 2011 is now updated via net.However, to me, and maybe the others will feel, if better to publish schedule of basic IVT not only the whole year round as we say, or rather.. can we make it a final posting quarterly like January to April 2011?We seem to find out posting basic IVT FOR TWO MONTHS SPAN SCHEDULE..I think this will make us more updated though slots may seem be impossible, yet it is really helpful to us in best ways.Can we relay this to ANSAP/NCLEX/PNA about it..Thank you so much..I love Phil-NSG-Drx.
@janbalp – that it is a great and sound idea. Not to mention practical and convenient for nurses like us. Hopefully, ANSAP and the other hospitals can come up with a better scheduling soon. In the meantime, PND will try to be as updated as possible with IVT schedules of hospitals in the Philippines. I am hoping too that fellow colleagues will contribute if they are aware of any IVT schedule that isn’t posted here yet.

I just want to know if who’s the one responsible for the releasing of the IV card/license?The hospital where you conducted iv training or it is directly to ansap? please help know regarding my inquiry until now i have not yet get my IV card its already 8mos ago.
@Jack – the hospital where you trained at will submit your papers to ANSAP. ANSAP will release it and it’s either you will get it from ANSAP or the hospital.

Hi Ma’am Rona. as posted here in this site, as well as ansap website, there is a scheduled IVT training in Notre Dame Chartes Hospital which is located here in Baguio. I’ve already personally gone there to get info regarding the training like how much? requirements? venue? but for some reason, they could not give me any info, only saying that they would inform me, if there would be any scheduled IVT trainings. i specifically stated that i got the info from ANSAP website, but they just gave me the same response. and I asked this questions to two people who are supposedly in charge of their trainings in their nursing service dept. it would’ve been an ok answer to me, but my gut tells me there’s something wrong, especially when they can’t look me in the eye about it, or give me a straight answer
Bakit po ganun? sometimes i can’t help but wonder if some hospitals are intentionally keeping some trainings to themselves. Wouldn’t it be easier to say if slots are alreay filled, scheduled training was postponed, etc.
hindi naman po ako mahirap kausap. i am also aware of the current issues and dilemmas nurses in our country face today.
let me just clarify for the record that i have no intention of destroying the institutions name or it’s staff’s.
i’m actually happy about the hospital services itself and am about to take a BLS,EKG,ACLS training from them which is sponsred/organized by the Phil. Heart Center.
its just disappointing to see that IVT training i need, (and is a requirement or employment here in the phil.) is not being provided wholeheartedly despite the governing body handling it has already posted schedules.
Its hard pa naman to get great trainings here in baguio, especially those organized by duly recognized bodies, despite the fact the Baguio is the center of education for those in Northern Luzon.

hi, sis, i went there too last february, they just took my number and was told they will call me. but came Monday I did not receive any info so I went there personally. The hospital didn’t know anything regarding the IVT training. Luckily, I met Ma’am Maricris of Notre. I think they are the ones who are in-charge of the trainings and she know someone who handles IVT. She gave me some sched for March-Feb. I just posted it today so kindly check it out.

hi,, i’ve seen that The Medical City is included in the list of accredited hospitals.. But accrdg to them,, its just for medical city’s staffs? wat for if they are closing opportunities for outsiders? is it so? is that really how it goes? thanks…
@dave RN – it’s possible that they are prioritizing those who already are working in their facility since they are the ones who need it most. I could be wrong though.

ma’am rona just wnt to ask if mandatory po ba na dun ka mag completion kung saan ka nag ivt 3days training? kasi ive frends na sila pumili kung saang hospital sila mag completion but then when i called martinez memorial they said na its mandatory. u cant have ur completion on other hospital… just want to confirm thanks.

@snap – I have a tattoo and I was able to train for it. Make sure it is not visible when you are wearing your duty uniform though.
