PRC Oath-taking and Initial Registration Schedule for July 2010 Nursing Board Exam Passers (Baguio)
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Baguio Regional Office Oath-taking and initial registration schedule for new professionals who have just passed the July 2010 nursing board exam (Nurse Licensure Examination) from Baguio.
Initial registration for new passers starts on September 6, 2010, Monday, at the PRC Baguio Regional Office. Only successful Baguio examinees shall register at the Regional Office pursuant to Commission Office Order No. 2009-90 dated February 19, 2009. The Order provides for a “Register Where You Took the Exam” policy. However, to decongest the Regional Office and save on travel expenses, the Regional Office will accept initial registration outside of Baguio. New nurses are advised to take their oath where they registered.
In coordination with Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) local chapters, the schedule of registration and oath-taking are as follows:

Successful examinees should personally register in order to sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The following are the requirements during initial registration:
- Duly-accomplished Oath form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal” form Go here to download the Oath Form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal” form. (This Oath Form is also available at the PRC.);
- 2010 Community Tax Certificate (Cedula);
- Two (2) pieces passport-size pictures (colored with white background and name tag);
- One (1) piece 1”x1” picture (colored with white background and name tag);
- One (1) piece documentary stamps;
- One (1) piece short brown envelope with name and profession;
- Original and photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate (original copy for presentation purposes only); and
- Initial Registration fee of PhP 600 and Annual Registration fee of PhP 450 for 2010 – 2013.
The Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be issued by PRC Central Office within 3-4 months after transmittal by the Regional Office.

i took the exam in manila and i will be registering in manila..but am i allowed to take the oath in dagupan?
@LEI ANN – yes you can take your oath-taking anywhere you want to. R.A. 9173 or the “Philippine Nursing Act of 2002″ Article IV Section 16 states that “All successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of profession before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.” It doesn’t matter where you are going to take it as long as what that R.A. states were met.
But then, PRC Baguio has a schedule of who should take the oath and where i.g. their announcement that “New nurses are advised to take their oath where they registered.” It’s best that you call them to ask if they would let you join the oath-taking ceremony in Dagupan.

hi miss rona.. i took the exam here in dagupan.. can i register my license in manila? they say surnames (those who passed the NLE) have schedules in Manila when you file your license there.. i wanted in manila because they say youll get your license within 2 mos. unlike in baguio which will take you around 3-4 mos. of waiting.. pls to reply for i need an advise thank you and Godbless
@rubie – I can’t assure you that PRC Central Office will entertain you. Most especially on those days that they have a schedule of for the nursing board exam passers from Metro Manila and Pampanga. Also, somebody here said something similar to what you want to do:

@shayne – you can register at the PRC anytime after the schedule of registration released by the PRC for the recent board passers.

Sadly, di pa ako nakakabayad ng initial reg and annual reg fee. Sabi sa akin babalik daw ako sa said schedule ng last name ko.

Currently living here in Olongapo City, I took my exams in Manila. I was supposed to take the oath on September 21, 2010 1pm on SMX Convention Center. But I am included with those who didn’t get their oathtaking tickets because it was “sold out”. Do you have any advisory on where and when will be our oath taking?
Last time I was in PRC Manila, the BON are still on a meeting, and we were told to wait for an update on a website.
I also would like to ask if I need any additional requirements. Thanks.
@Dhaynx – there were some who have already called PRC and was informed that the PRC will hold an oath-taking ceremony at their auditorium on the 21 – 22, / 22 – 23, both 9 AM – 12 noon. You may call PRC in the numbers on the right side of the screen to inquire about this. As of the moment, I don’t see any announcement on PRC’s or BON’s websites regarding this.

Usually meron after the mass oath-taking ceremony at the SMX.

Good day. Hanggang kelan po pwede mka pa register? Nagttrabao po kc ako ngaun at di pa mka file ng leave, natatakot po ako n bka hindi na ma honor ng PRC IloIlo ung results ko last JUly2011. Ayaw ko po sana mag absent sa trabaho lalo na na lam kong hindi natatapos ang PRC Iloilo sa 2 araw lng na processing.
