THANK YOU SO MUCH MAAM .. )
@Erian Rose – I think I already answered your questions in the other post. I’ll just copy and paste it here anyway:
That is the actual process. Oathtaking FIRST then REGISTRATION.
2. Ang PNA membership ay para… (i’ll just get back to you on this one) Advantage of being a member of the PNA ay may discount ka sa mga seminars nila. That’s the main advantage that I can think of off the top of my head. (i’ll let you know of the others soon, hehe)
If I were you, I won’t be too worried too much if I can or can not put “R.N.” in your resume. Just put it cause practically speaking, you already are an R.N.
[...] PRC Initial Registration Schedule for new R.N.’s: Metro Manila and Pampanga [...]
Kung saan ka nagfile to take the board exam, doon ka din dapat magregister as an R.N. initially.
@Rene – Good evening to you too. Yes the Oath Form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal” Form will be submitted during initial registration at the PRC. When buying the ticket for the mass oathtaking at SMX in the PNA office, just present a valid ID and of course yung bayad sa tickets na bibilhin mo.
Hi maam. san ba yung regional office sa pampanga? wala kasing nakapost. thanks
)
@john – yup that is correct. This initial registration schedule of PRC Manila office are for those who are in the NCR/Metro Manila and Pampanga.
thank you po Rona RN!
When can i register on Prc ksi COTAS ung last surname sa sept 24 then CRUZ na ung next.. san po ba ko pede pa mg inquire about this? thank you!
Hi maam! Magtatanong lang po ako. I am currently here in USA for a vacation and be back maybe by january.
i applied and took my NLE in pampanga, but i am now situated here in iloilo… can i register here in iloilo?
good day!
just would like to know when is the scheduled regional oath taking for bicol?
is that expected to be held within the month?
am worried kc that since u’ve mentioned that “[it should be] oath taking first before initial PRC registration,” what if the regional oath taking, which i opt to attend, will be scheduled later than the scheduled manila PRC registration for me, which is on October 12.
Basically, my case is:
1. I am from bicol.
2. Took the board exam here in manila.
3. Opt to take an oath in Legaspi but no sched yet for it.
4. My initial PRC reg. sched is on Oct. 12.
Thanks!
You have to wait when it’s your day to register.
@millicent – Deadline of submission for application to the December 2010 nursing board exam: November 8, 2010 (First Timers); September 8, 2010 (Repeaters)
@Sette, RN – BON has yet to release the schedule for regional oathtaking. I will post it here as soon as it is released. If you applied for the board exam in PRC Manila, you are going to initially register in PRC Manila too. There’s no issue as to where you are going to attend an oathtaking ceremony. Now, in the case that you can’t attend any oathtaking ceremony before your registration day, you can just say to the PRC that you haven’t taken an oath and they will take care of it. That is what the PRC is for.
@eli janssen p cucio – nope you can not register there in Iloilo since you applied in a different PRC office.
@john – pwede kang hindi umattend ng oathtaking kung hindi talaga posible in your end. Let the PRC know on the day of your registration na hindi ka nakaattend ng oathtaking ceremony.
@joyce – bring your birth certificate if you really do not have any form of identification left with you.
No need to take an oath to the consul if you would be back here in the Philippines anyway. That option is for those who want to register while they are abroad.
@patrick – you are welcome!
@mikaela – This one is for a case like yours: PRC Resolution No. 2006-313 Series of 2006 is to allow Filipino professionals based outside the Philippines to apply for initial registration with the PRC.

@ Rona, RN… well, thanks for assisting.Have a nice day!
@Rona, RN…another question: how much do i have to pay for processing my initial PRC registration?
@Sette – Initial Registration Fee of PhP 600 (six hundred pesos); Annual Registration Fee of PhP 450 (four hundred fifty pesos) for 2010 – 2013. You can read it here: PRC Initial Registration Instructions for new R.N.’s
@ghepot – if you’re looking for the initial registration schedule for those who are in Region III, here it is: PRC Initial Registration Schedule for new R.N.’s (Cordillera Administrative Region, Region I and Region III)
i know it already ms. rona, rn. thanks for the help! au revoir…wink.
@Sette, RN – you’re welcome and congratulations pala!
@audris – no. hanggang 2 guests lang ang allowed per inductee.
I would just like to ask since matagal pa yung registration, can I possibly attend the trainings already for IVT and etc. even without the PRC license? Gusto ko na kasi mag-start agad this september para matapos ako agad by this year so I can start working by next year. And from the day of the registration, kelan po kaya possible makuha yung license? Thanks so much! =)
@mico – to be able to train for as an IV therapist, you should have your RN license first. Your claim stub for the PRC ID will do. From the day of your registration, usually, after 2 months mo makukuha ang PRC ID.
hi maam just want to ask again.. what if maam i will attend the oathtaking ceremony, pero po hindi po ako makakapunta sa registration date ko kasi po magbabakasyon po ako sa ibang country, and baka po matagalan po ako sa pag balik here in the phils. pano po gagawin ko?.. thank you po
@cath – you can just register when you get back here in the Philippines.
24 and Sept. 27.
Good pm Mam Rona, just came home from PNA. They gave out a flyer on the diff schedules of seminars/ trainings for this year. However, they didn’t indicate how many CPE points we will receive for each seminar. They just wrote the fees. Would you by chance know how many points these are? Or where do i ask details of the CPE points? Also, if we get to attend seminars outside of PNA, like in hospitals, how sure are we that the seminars really will give us CPE credits, even though they have posted on their bulletin that they have so-so points. Thnx
@Robyn – I think I already answered you in the other post. I’ll copy and paste it here anyway:
Unfortunately, I do not know either how many CPE points they give for their seminars. Somebody correct me if I am wrong but i think they indicate the CPE points that you earned in the certificate that they would give after the seminar. You can ask the hospitals who give out training if they are accredited by the PRC to give CPE units. It usually is an accreditation number. I am actually looking for a list of hospitals and training centers that are accredited.
MAM, HELLO PO. just wanna ask po something different, san po ba ako pde magtanong bout sa case ko n magchange ng status, during application po kasi ng bord im single and our dean suggested n after nalang bord exam ipachange yung status ko, i am married na po kasi.i appreciate your answer, thank you and godbless.
@ mam rona meron n po pla revised registration sked..s prc website..ngaun ko lng nkita
@bev – yup nakita ko na din. i’ll update the post. Thanks. Buti naman inupdate nila hehe. Mali mali naman kasi.
ma’am rona, okay na po ba yung naka-attach na post dito sa “PRC Initial Registration Schedule for new R.N.’s (Metro Manila and Pampanga)” di ko po kasi ma-open yung website ng PRC e.
@Erian – Yes.
“First-come, first-served” basis siya.
and may nag inform po samin that our oath taking will be on pm sesion..tanong ko po sana kung what exact time yon??kasi po yung nabasa ko po kasi dati 8am to 1pm po ang oath taking..
–salamat po ulit and God bless
@cheche24 – AM session is 8:00; PM session is 1:00. Dalawang set ng oathtaking ceremony bawat araw. Isa sa umaga, isa sa hapon.
Hi Miss Rona, ung schedule ko pa ng registration is on Nov 3, I’ll be out of the country po by that time, pwede po bang proxy na lang magparegister behalf of myself with power of attorney?
Thanks po ng marami.
@Elyx RN – Read on this for a case like yours: PRC Resolution No. 2006-313 Series of 2006 is to allow Filipino professionals based outside the Philippines to apply for initial registration with the PRC.
@cheche24 – walang anuman…
gud evening..ask ko lng po aattend po ako ng oathaking pero d po ako makakapag register kc aalis po ako ng bansa for good..ano pong gagawin ko para maregister yung name ko dito sa philippines as a nurse?? thanks
@mela – Read this: PRC Resolution No. 2006-313 Series of 2006 is to allow Filipino professionals based outside the Philippines to apply for initial registration with the PRC.
gud evening po…talaga po bang kelangan 21 years old k para makuha mo ung license mo and makapagwork k sa hospital kahit na nakapasa k na ng boards? thank u…
@cheriboi –
Hindi kailangan na 21 years old ka para kumuha ng lisensya. According to PRC’s GUIDELINES and STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY for the Nursing Board Exam/Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE)
Ay mali. Pag take pala ng board exam yan. Anybody here can help cheriboi? I am not sure about this kasi. How old are you anyway?
thank you po in advance..
ok po maam rona..maraming salamat po..now i know…and klaro n po sakin…salamat ulit..ur the best….
@tomapit – you’re welcome. “Now you know,” ika nga ni Pacquiao. Haha.
thank you po..and more power…
@mike – call PRC Davao in this numbers: (082) 234-0006; (082) 234-0007; (082) 234-0008
@confused – that’s correct, yes.
You can buy tickets for the oathtaking at SMX at the PNA Manila office: Instructions are here: Oathtaking Schedule for July 2010 Nursing Board Exam Successful Examinees
hi! ask ko lang yung original link from prc of this registration dates. iba kc from the one posted on other sites (http://www.pinoybsn.blogspot.com/) is this the updated one? may adjustment kc on d dates. thanx!
@RN na – as you can see in the post above:
Ito na ang updated at mas tama. Kanina lang yan nirelease ng PRC.
Thank you, Miss Rona, problem ku din po pala yung tanong ni cheriboi, kasi 19 palang ako pero next month 20 na ko, so I still can’t get my PRC license?
I am still researching ang asking around about this one. Let us know what you would find out.
Thank you,ma’am.
Another question po sana,
thank you so much po and God Bless:)
We just have to wait until PRC-BON releases their schedule for regional oathtaking.
Gudevening ma’am Rona. Ask q lng po qng bukas po ung PRC main office 2wing sat? pra qng sakali sa sat n lng aq punta pra malaman board rating q. Hehe… Thanks =D
@Matie – I am not 100% sure but I won’t count on it if I were you. PRC is a government office and government offices are only open every Monday to Friday.
hi miss Rona, this part isn’t so clear to me..uhm, if im going to apply for IVT training, can I simply present the claim stub of my prc i.d. or it is a ‘must’ that i present my license itself??…..thank you so much
@sil – the claim stub for your PRC license will suffice when applying for IVT training.
