@kath – you may try to. I am not assuring anything but you can either call them and ask if slots are still available or just go there on Monday and take the chance that they would allow you to join the training.
Ma’am. Nakapag Basic life support na po kasi ako and 1st aid training during my 3rd year on our nursing school.. Red cross po mismo.. Expired na po sya ngaun. Kailangan ko pa po ba mag training ule nang Basic life support or may renewal nlng po nang certificate?
@ Near – BLS training is usually only valid for 1 year. You have to train for it again because there are always new updates.
Wow thank you Ma’am for the fast reply.. Next year po ulet kailangan mag traning for BLS? yearly pla un.
@Near – as I have said, BLS usually expires in a year.
@Near
Try calling a red cross chapter near you. Nung training, may paper na binigay samin na sabi kapag irerenew ung BLS, you just have to pass their test and practicals. Ask them if this also applies to you. Good luck!
@Newbie Nurse – thanks for that information!
wow thanks !!!!!
ma’am tanung ko lng po f mgkaiba po ung bls s bls-cpr..?
@junelle – BLS is CPR training for healthcare providers.
thank you po ma’am
laking tulong ng site n to..
@junelle – you’re welcome and thank you too.
@balthier – hello. I really do not know as I didn’t train for BLS in any of those 2 BLS training providers that you mentioned.
ma’am rona, mas maganda po b ung bls if meron dng aed at sfa? at anu po ung sfa?
@junelle – SFA – Standard First Aid.
Good day. I have already undergone BLS Training sa Red Cross nung fourth year pa ko. Thank you.
@Kat – check that Red Cross ID given to you. That card is valid for only a year. BLS training is valid for only 1 year kasi.
@netch – you can inquire directly at HEART Foundation regarding this.
hello po, tatanong ko lang po if ung pag register sa BLS trainig is one day lang? Hindi po ba pwedi pumunta before november 29 for the december training. thank you po.
@tnay – you can ask HEART Foundation directly about this.
Can anyone take BLS or nurses only? What are the requirements to register?
@rachelle – BLS is not exclusive for nurses only. Red Cross would be a much better option for you if you’re not a nurse. Their BLS training is designed for a layman or those who are not in the medical field.
ma’am good day. does it mater f saan ka nagtraining ng BLS? accepted ba kahit san magtraining?
@mj – it depends on where you are going to apply at.
Good morning ma’am:) just wanna ask if we will receive certificate or id card after the training? tsaka hindi po talaga pwede magACLS if walang BLS? thank you so much!
@Grace – good morning to you too. a certificate would definitely be handed to you after the training. BLS is a prerequisite of ACLS because you would need to know first the basic concepts of resuscitation which you would apply when training for ACLS.
Good day! want to ask kung pwedeng pa submit ko na lng sa friend ko ung payment at ung application form for BLS training @ PHC? is it possible? thanks
@jomspogi – not sure about this. You can inquire directly at Heart Foundation about this.
thank you ms. rona.. more power
good day. ma’am. sure na kaya po yung nov. 30 na registration date for dec 7?
@kristine –
I’ll edit this post if they change their schedules.
@rona RN – you will have to follow the date that they have given when you should register. I can’t give an assurance that they will entertain you on other dates aside from the registration day that they announced.
