Thanks to zaza for this information!

wala na ngang ticket for the oath taking sa sept.
haayyyss…
@kismet22 – thanks for sharing that information. I will quote you on that one when somebody asks if there will be an oath-taking ceremony at the PRC.
@Carlo – unfortunately, tickets for the mass oath-taking ceremony at the SMX have run out. BUT, you do know that you have already taken your oath, right?
@april – you do not register for an oath-taking ceremony iha. You will just attend it. PRC has no official announcement about this one. We’ll just have to wait.
i called the PRC here’s what they said:
free of charge ang oathtaking sa PRC auditorium..choose a date when you wanted to take the oath its only Sept 22 or Sept 23, both 9am-12noon…but still you need to be in COMPLETE GALA UNIFORM as noted in the requirements
@zaza – thank you so much for sharing that information. ang dami ng nag wo-worry dahil hindi sila nakabili ng tickets. I’ll quote you on this one, okay? I might put this on top of the site for the benefit of those who weren’t able to buy tickets.
Thanks again for he info.
yung sa oath taking sa prc sa septmber 22 at 23 san magpapalista?
@mark – right now, wala pang sinasabi ang PRC kung kailangan pa na magpalista. What I know right now are based on comments and information given to me by those who have called or asked the PRC. Let’s assume until there’s no other notice that you just have to go there and attend their oath-taking ceremony.
available for ba ang oath taking tickets in prc lucena?
@andrea – I have no information regarding the availability of the oath-taking tickets in PRC Lucena.
@merillson – I don’t think pwedeng pumasok ang walang ticket. Most probably, you would be separated from your guest and you will be joining your fellow oath-takers just like the other past oath-taking ceremonies.
good day ma’am! ask ko lang po kung pede ang may color ang hair sa oath taking? tnx
@Lana Lang – you can call PNA to verify this. Their numbers are on the right side of this page.
hanggang parking lang sila?
@merillson – most probably, yes. I’m sure it will be a no-ticket, no-entry thing. They wouldn’t be selling tickets if they would be letting everyone in. Sorry. Okay lang ‘yan. Sama-sama naman kayo kumain sa labas pagkatapos.
how about if i have a really short haircut, will it be fine na hindi na magpusod?
@newbie2 – you can call PNA to verify this. Their numbers are on the right side of this page.
Do we have to bring anything aside from the tickets?
@Sherlyn – nope. Just yourself and your guest. And a camera perhaps?
@Rio – I can’t give you an assurance that you can register aside from where you filed to take the board exam. You may call PRC Manila to verify this. Their number are on the right side of this page.
Hello Ms. Rona. ask qo lang po if its ok not to join any of the oath taking ceremonies to be held both at SMX and PRC? If its ok to just pass the oath taking form and take the oath taking sa PRC on the date scheduled for my initial registration? I would like to save the money and at the same time iwas pagod na din po from joining both ceremonies. Possible po ba yun? Thank you ma’am.
@autumn – yes you do not have to take any mass oath taking ceremony to be able to get your license. there are those who have already registered. they have already submitted their notarized and signed oath form. they are just waiting for their license to be released. On the day that they will claim their license, I am 100% sure that PRC won’t even ask them anymore if they attended an oath-taking ceremony let alone ask for some sort of proof that they did. I will just quote myself from previous comments. I have been saying this over and over again from the past:
kelngn po b tlgang umatend ng oathtaking?wat if ndi umatend? mgpkkprob b s pgkuha ng prc license?
@manda_rn – read my reply to autumn above.
Thank you
@Heidi – the numbers are on the right side of this page. You may call to inquire regarding their oath-taking ceremony.

@ralph – what for? hehe.

@justin – if it is what you are wearing to attend your class in nursing school, then yes.
thank you ma’am rona sa help. Ma’am medyo confused po ako, when you said “notarized and signed oath form” kailangan ko pa po bang pa-notarized sa lawyer ung oath form? Thank you po ulit.
@autumn – notarization of the oath form is included in the registration process at the PRC.

Thank you so much ma’am rona for helping me out with my inquiries. You are a great help to new Rns like us. God Bless you and happy weekend.
@autumn – you are welcome. that’s what I am here for. Congratulations!
I’m selling my tickets for oath taking ceremony july21,2010 Tues 8am session.. i wont be able to attend because of work. contact me if interested…09264436951
kelangan pa ba ng nameplate at school pin sa oath taking?
@justin – what for?
Mam Rona registration for the license card yung napuntahan ko.
@Carlo – you already have signed a notarized oath form. I hope you read what’s in it and that you’re aware that you have already taken an oath in written form. It’s up to you kung gusto mo pa umattend ng ceremony para i-recite pa ang oath mo. I have no idea if registration is needed for the oath-taking ceremony at the PRC.
aw,sa mga di pa nag papa register para sa special oath taking, all you have to do is mag punta sa PRC, tapos sa main building, sa 3rd floor, may mesa dun sa may tabi nang PARB office ata yun, andun lang yung folder.. or for more details, ask po sa public assistant window nang PRC. ^^
Thanks for sharing this! I’ll put it up on top of the site.
Salamat ulit.
gala uniform or school uniform ang suot sa OT for male?
@jj – pwedeng gala, pwedeng hindi. basta all-white.
mam rona juz wana say thanks po ur really such a great help, dahil po sa inyo naliwanagan ako. pde naman pala ndi umatend talga ng oathtaking e kala ko po kc klangan talga magspecial oath e na out of budget po kc ala na pamasahe hehe. sa bahay nalang me magooath basta by heart ^_^, Godbless po.
@wengie – haha, by heart. You’re funny! Thank you for saying that and you’re welcome.
@Mang Narsing – let’s hope somebody replies for your sake. Baka napeke ka diyan ha. He he.
@Mang Narsing – bwahaha. Kanino mo ba kasi nabili ‘yan?
sa nurse ko din nabili ito eh….
@Mang Narsing – malalaman natin bukas. Balitaan mo ako kung anong nangyari. He he.
Hindi ‘yan. Makaka-attend ka ng ceremony niyan.
Just want to ask if we are still allowed to invite our parents during the oath taking ceremony even if it is going to be held in prc auditorium tomorrow.
maam i just want to ask if we are still allowed to invite our parents for tomorrow oath taking ceremony even if it is going to be held in prc auditorium..thanks po
@ jade: hey what time ka punta PRC
That’s good to know. Thanks for updating me. Congratulations!
)
Regarding the oathtaking at the PRC auditorium, I just called PRC a few mins ago. They said that they will collect P150 for the programme and that it can be taken anytime between 9am and 5pm. Haay! Kakalito naman to. So does that mean I should be there ng 9 pa rin or pwede na sa afternoon??
This is what has been told to somebody naman before:
Did you ask if it will be split in 2 ceremonies?
Tried calling again to verify. They’re not picking up the phone. Will get back to you about that, Mam Rona. Til 5pm naman dapat ofc hrs, ryt. Baka naka-break lang.
@newbie RN – yeah it’s really hard to call them lately. Break time yata sila buong hapon eh, he he. Thank you and good luck!
Sorry Mam, my attempts to contact PRC were unsuccessful. So that’s the only info I got, anytime between 9-5pm at the 3rd floor Examiner’s room of the Main Bldg of the PRC. Come in gala uniform and pay P150 for the programme. Anyone there who attended earlier today to verify this? That would be helpful, thanks!
@newbie RN – it’s okay, I don’t think anyone has been successful at contacting PRC lately anyway. thank you for that information. I really appreciate it. Let’s hope somebody will reply.
Hi I’ve just attended the “Special Oath-taking” this morning. (Sept 22 2010)
In my case: (again, In my case. Yours could be different)
Oath-taking program was conducted by batch of 50 nurses lasting approx 30 mins in a classroom-sized room.
I think they started at 8.
Lunch break at 12:30, then resumed until 5(?).
Not sure though, I left the place at 12:30noon.
Php 150 was for the souvenir book, but it’s optional.
Absolutely No fees for the Oath-taking ceremony.
They said there will be another special oath-taking tomorrow, but I’m not sure if they will use the same system.
I hope they do it in a bigger room.
If you plan to go, here’s a hint:
I’ve drenched under the sun for 3 hours!
@EdEvan – Thank you! I appreciate your effort in sharing your sweaty experience. I hope newbie RN is still online to read this. This is the oath-taking ceremony I was talking about before that PRC gives to those who still want to attend one if they weren’t able to buy tickets to the much swankier (but comes with a fee) SMX Convention Center. I have some nagging questions. Did they ask you to sign an oath form during the ceremony? Did they check/list down the names those who attended their ceremony?
