P350 – inductee
P200/guest = only 2 guests
P400 = PNA membership
@RN – Thank you! I will update the post.
can we bring an 8year old kid?
Unfortunately, according to the one that I talked to in the PNA office, “Bawal ang bata.”
awtz.just like PICC din pla.no kids allowed.gusto ko sna mkasa both of my parents in this assembly but I guess i had no choice.anyways tnx mam Rona for immediate reply.congratulations to new nurses.
ang mahal naman! guaranteed seats ba ito? if not, it should not be that expensive:D
@Dave – you’re welcome. 2 guests are allowed per inductee so you can bring both of your parents.
@Dianne – mahal talaga, hehe. I recommend that you come in early during the oathtaking cause based on past oathtakings, may mga hindi nakaupo kahit may ticket.
do we need to bring something para makakuha ng ticket? may mga kailangan ba? thanks.
Hi thea. No you do not need to bring anything when buying/claiming your tickets for the oathtaking. May listahan sila ng mga pangalan. Any ID can be presented for faster look-up of your name.
okay thanks.. so pwede na kmi dumerecho na sa pna agad. may agsasabi kasi na sa prc muna pumunta.
There’s no need to go to the PRC first to be able to claim/buy your oathtaking tickets at the PNA.
Do i have to go first sa prc or i can go straight na dn sa PNA?
Call PRC at this number: 7362248 regarding incorrectly-spelled names. PNA doesn’t have anything to do with correcting names for registration in the PRC.
@Rona Rn – I can’t bring both of my parents without my younger brother left alone.there is always 1 who should left behind w/c will take care of my brother. That’s why I can’t bring them both.
@Dave, RN – ah I see. Sayang naman. Well, I hope you can work that one out. Like ask somebody to look after him while both of your parents attend the ceremony.
@Rona RN – I wish there is someone that looks like my mother because these kid have separation anxiety though.
Hi. Can we apply for the PNA membership when we buy tickets for the Oath Taking?
@KNav – yes you may. You’ll be paying PhP 350 (inductee entrance ticket) plus PhP 400 for PNA membership.
@Dave RN – may sister yung mom mo? Hehe. Baka pwede siya.
@Rona RN – meron, some will also attend to his son’s oath taking.the other is residing in our province.well I guess nde na po kita papaproblemahin pa regarding this.hehe.tnx nlng po 4 trying atleast.thank u so much po 4 all answers and advice.see yah
hi:) okay lang po iba if hindi po ako mismo ang bibili ng ticket sa PNA office and magbabayad for PNA membership?
@lalala – I’m not 100% sure about this. I will have to verify with PNA tomorrow morning and then post a reply right away. I’m afraid you have to go to the PNA personally though as you will have to sign your PNA card there. As for the oathtaking tickets, pwede naman yata na kahit hindi ikaw mismo ang bumili.
Thank you Ms. Rona
its really nice that you are always ready to answer our inquiries:) Thank you and Godbless.
@lalala – You’re welcome.
Check back here tomorrow morning for a more concrete and accurate answer to this.
@Dave, RN – nah it’s okay. Just trying to cheer you up. I understand how important it is for parents to be there when you take your oath as an RN.
Good luck!
Is the PNA membership fee compulsory?
mam rona.. Pnu po pg regional area mgooath? Wla p po bng sked? T.y.
thanks!
@MC – PNA membership IS NOT COMPULSORY. There is no law that stipulates that an RN in this country has to be a member of the PNA to be a full-pledged nurse.
…hello po…can somebody give a step by step instruction para sa registration…kakapasa ko lang ng nle and this coming month na ang oath…pagkatapos ko pong makuha mga requirements..anu na po bang mga susunod na gagawin…thanx in adv
@Dave, RN – Oath Form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal”: http://www.philippinenursingdirectory.com/2009/10/01/prc-oath-form-or-panunumpa-ng-propesyonal/
Refer to this oath form if it is the same as the one that you have. If they are, then that’s what you will have to fill-out.
@joel – Please refer to this post for the step-by-step instructions on how to register for the PRC: http://www.philippinenursingdirectory.com/2010/08/29/prc-initial-registration-instructions-for-new-rn/
hi mam! just want to ask if pwedeng hindi na po pumunta sa oath taking since ung panunumpa ng propesyonal naman e aackasuhin n sa mismong PNA..i mean ndi ba parang FOR FORMALITY purposes nalang ung oath taking?? thanks po! and more power
@kayealihan – for formality lang talaga ang oathtaking. and money-making, este, celebration lang siya. Teka i’ll get back to you.
@jay – Pwede.
@Rose Anne – No. Oathtaking is not done by alphabetical order. Ticket selling is on a “first-come, first-served basis”.
@Dave, RN – preferably legal size. But as long as it fits the paper, okay na yun.
Thanks.
@Sofi – at the moment, the tickets can only be bought at the PNA office. You can ask your school if they can acquire the tickets, though.
Thanks mam. Question po again. Pwede na po ba magpamember sa PNA? Kahit wala pa po kaming license?
@Sofi – Yes. You may become a member of the PNA even if you do not have your PRC license card yet.
Just bring any ID card or form of identification for faster lookup of your name in the roster of new professionals.
I’m out of the country and unfortunately I can’t go back kasi nag aaral po ako.. Thank you!
@Sheen – are you going to practice your profession here in the Philippines? If not, then there’s no need for you to be a member of the PNA.
thanks..
Hmmm, I still don’t know… So pna reg is optional? Can I still reg after a year or so? Thank you very much!I really appreciate it! God bless you!
@Sheen – Yes. PNA membership is optional. It is not compulsory. There’s no need for you to apply to become a member right now most especially if you are not going to practice here in the Philippines anyway. Not anytime soon, at least. You can apply for membership anytime you want or need to.
For those who are already abroad and want to register to the PRC, please refer to this page:
PRC Resolution No. 2006-313 Series of 2006 (Resolution amending item No. 1, Paragraph 3 of Commission Resolution No. 2004-235 Series of 2004 regarding the personal filling up of entries of data in the registry of professionals.)
And akala ko po we’ll pay 600 now then 450 after 3 years and every 3 years lang, not annual? Thank you po.
gud morning poh maam RONA, ktatawag ko lng po kasi sa PNA knina regarding po sa ticket then sv po ng nkausap ko dun 1:1 lng daw yung guest per inductee?pde ba un?pno kung gustong isama both parents nla?like my cousin?
hi po! ask lang kung kelan pwede makuha board rating? pwede na po ba anytime or may sked pa? thanks in advance!
Hi, good morning po.
The date (20 or 21) and time (AM or PM) of your oathtaking would depend from what school you are from.
@Jamie – No walang bayad ang pag-download ng Oath From.
@ice – Most probably you can get your board rating during or after the initial registration.
@Dave, RN – yes 1 ticket per inductee and that inductee may buy a maximum of 2 more tickets for his/her guests.
Unfortunately, you will be paying PhP 1,050 during initial regsitration. Initial registration yung 600 then 450 for the 3-years registration (2010 – 2013). Di pa kasama ang metered documentary stamps diyan. At yung pagbili mo ng coke or juice kasi mainit doon, hehe.
PRC-BON will announce soon the regional oathtaking schedule.
Kumbaga yung schedule ng oathtaking is per school.
