The Nursing Center for Clinical Laboratory Experience, Inc. (NC-CLEX) schedule of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training for July – December 2010.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
- Effective Defibrillation and Safety Cardioversion
- Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
- Bi-phasic Defibrillation
- Automated Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (AICD)
- Intubation (Endotracheal, Intranasal)
- Cardio-Pharmacology
- Administration of Emergency Cardiac Drugs
- First Line Drugs and Second Line Meds
- Use of Monoject med with needle protector
- Rules on IV bolus and drips
- Using EKG simulator and mannequins
- Emergency Crash Cart
Training Fee: PhP 2,000
Note:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation training are pre-requisites of ACLS training.

hi i have a bls training ashi acredited also valid till 2012.. but i dont have ekg training.. can i proceed to acls program? im really interested pls. thanks
@melissa – you have to have an ECG interpretation training to be able to take ACLS training. It’s a pre-requisite.
mam i really want to attend the ekg training on oct 5 and 6,so that i can also proceed to acls training on 7 and 8, the problem is on oct 6 nakasched ako para sa filing ng application ko for license newly board passer po kasi ako, and may surname is flores. what time is the schedule po ba on oct 5? can you please give special consideration on my part or hahabol nalang po ako? tumatawag ako sa office nyo no answer po..thank you
@mflores – PND is not NC-CLEX. I only post their training and seminars. Most probably nobody answers because it’s a Saturday. You can always call them during weekdays. Time of training would usually start at 8 AM. 1 certificate per training, I believe.

Pede bang walk-in? or you have limited slots? plan ko kase walk in lang.

i plan to attend tomorrows training kasi. i tried calling several times today, walang sumasagot bcause its a weekend. eh i wasnt able to call nung weekdays.
may i know how much is the acls training if were not a member?

@moneth – tawag ka sa NC-CLEX to inquire. Also, check the compiled training and seminars for October if they have a schedule of BLS training for the said month.

Is this ACLS training by NC-CLEX accredited by PRC? Our professor in masters need a PRC accredited ACLS certificate as a requirement.
