RP Embassy in Madrid Welcomes First Group of Filipino Nurses in the Basque Country – DFA

The 27 Filipino nurses arrived in Bilbao last week. Fifteen came from the province of Nueva Vizcaya, while twelve are from other provinces.

The deployment of Filipino health workers in Spain is part of the RP-Spain Memorandum of Understanding on Migration Flows signed in June 2006. Under the agreement, Spain will open its doors to the employment of Filipino health workers. Click below to continue reading.

The Nurse Assigned in Rural Service (NARS) Project is now accepting online registration for its second batch of applicants. Those who are already registered but not yet shortlisted in the first batch will be automatically considered in the selection process for the second batch.

UP-PGH 4-month Training Course

Admin note: The following information was shared by Noel RN of IVTeam Philippines Hub.

The Division of Nursing Education and Training (DNET) of the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) announces their 8th Clinical Nursing Enhancement Program (CNEP).

The 4-month (August 24 to December 4, 2009) training program is open for registered nurses who have limited and/or not actively practiced the profession for five (5) consecutive years. Read more…
