June 2009 Nursing Board Exam Passers Oathtaking Ceremony News

A letter to all the Regional Partners of the Oathtaking Ceremony written by Hon. Amelia B. Rosales, RN, Ph.D., a Member of the Board of Nursing and the Chairperson of the Oathtaking for the June 6 and 7 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) New Nurses has been posted in the PRC-BON website.

The following is the gist or what I can make of the document/letter that are of importance for the future R.N.’s:

1. The possible, (i say possible because it says that it is still “being worked out for implementation”) date and place of the Oathtaking Ceremony in the NCR (Metro Manila) is August 18 and 19 at the SMX Convention Center.

2. There might be additional areas for the Oathtaking Ceremonies. The areas mentioned are Bacolod, Baguio, Bohol, CARAGA, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Gen. Santos, Iloilo, Laoag, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pangasinan, Roxas, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga/Sulu.

3. The souvenir program costs Php 150.00 each.

4. The NCR Oathtaking Ceremonies can be viewed by live streaming through the BON website.
